I ARRIVED AT RANDY’S HOUSE and rang the doorbell. He answered and, upon seeing me, was as excited as a kid who’d received the ultimate gift from beneath the Christmas tree.
“I am so proud of you, Kaz. This is fantastic! I can’t believe you bought a house.” He wrapped his arms around me and gave me a huge bear hug. “How wonderful is that?”
“It’s not a done deal yet, Randy,” I said, chuckling. “I still have to deliver your letter and then wait for an approval.”
I was spontaneously aroused at the feel of him compressing my body against his. I didn’t want him to let go of me, recognizing with all certainty that we felt good together.
“Here’s the letter,” Randy said, releasing me from his grasp. He handed me an envelope, his smiling eyes bright. “You should get this to the broker immediately.”
“I’m on my way… but can I use your bathroom first?”
“Go right ahead.” He motioned his hand towards the staircase. “You know where it is.”
I ran upstairs, used the facilities, and then sneaked into his bedroom to have a glimpse at my picture. It was hanging in the same place, on the brick wall beside his bed.
Goosebumps swelled along my arms and down my backside, as I thought about our onetime rendezvous. “That was hot,” I admittedly hummed, unquestionably horny and ready for more. Realizing this wasn’t the time to provoke a repeat performance, I hurried back downstairs.
Randy was waiting near the front door, merrily bopping to a Top Ten song on the radio. “All set?” he asked, lowering the volume.
“Yep,” I chuckled lightly, amused by his jovial movements.
“I have to hand it to you, Kaz. You’ve had some marvellous things happen to you lately. Didn’t I tell you that you’d be getting your life into shape sooner than you thought?”
“Yes... but there’s still one important thing missing,” I said, gazing at him seriously.
He looked at me quizzed. “And what would that be?”
You’re what’s missing, Randy. I’m gay and I’m in love with you. I was unable to say the words outright, though I felt the message being conveyed through my eyes.
“Now’s not a good time to talk about it, Randy. Do you mind if we discuss it another day?”
Randy’s infiltrating blue eyes looked determinedly into mine, as a knowing smile raised a corner of his mouth. “Does this by any chance involve me in any way?” he questioned, lifting a brow.
I exhaled a surrendering breath and nodded yes.
“Well then, we’re definitely going to have to discuss this soon—but in the meantime...” Inching up to me, curling his arms around my neck, Randy ensured I felt his interest with a sentimental kiss.
The cat was out of the bag, so to speak. There was no need to expound any further details, or fight myself anymore. The chemistry between Randy and me was clearly powerful.
“You’d better get that letter to where it’s supposed to go, mister, or else I’m going to have to lock you in here with me,” he threatened humorously, giving my butt a couple of smacks.
